i am in good old london again... its already my 5th time here since i started flying just about a yr ago. and i must say london has grew to be 1 of my most loved places to go. its the world's most expensive city and definitely very busy. but there is still this mysterious peacefulness about this place. the old buildings, london cabs, parks, trees, cobble streets. i was having an afternoon stroll thru Hyde Park from Bayswater after my dose of roast duck noodles. the weather was perfect, sunny yet breezy. dogs were running around, people sitting on benches enjoying the fresh air, some were just laying on the grass. i saw this young couple in the middle of the huge park dancing a slow dance, dancing without music, dancing to a tune only their hearts know. he was twirling her around before embracing in each other arms and falling onto the ground. i thought i would only see such a scene in the movie. its was so romantic and loving.... i had lunch alone. its nice to be alone sometimes. to think about things. to just enjoy the silence.

anyway, i am finally trained for business class and i was working at upper deck, sin-lon. my 1st ever business class solo, full load and i was on check (on board assessment). i was a bag of nerves but everything turned out quite well. my chief was very patient and my check was above average! =)

KL Trip

it has been a fun & crazy weekend!

i got back from my flight on fri evening, slept at 3am, left for KL at 7am the next day. Took a coach from golden mile complex and reached KL around 1pm. Didnt get to sleep much on the coach. Paid 15 ringgit (the cabs refused to go by meter) to get to Boulevard Hotel at Mid Valley City. Checked in with jaslyn while chris hide in the toilet (got to pay more for the room if additional people). Changed and went out straight for lunch. Jaslyn's friend, Wong was kind enough to drive us and we found the tattoo palour all thanks to him. and the rest is history! me and chris got TATTOOED!!!!!

i had mine tattooed 1st bcoz the rest was unsure! scared of pain la, blah blah blah. but after my ordeal, chris decided to do it & got his FAIRY re-designed by our tattoo artist, Lina. She is really good and the fact tat she is funny helps alot (i always have this thought tat tattoo artists are unfriendly n scary)! so we were in the palour till 9pm (we were the only customers left), went back and showered. dinner at 11pm then we and chris went partying! its was really crazy... i was so sleepy and my back was so sore but we still had lots of fun in the club. it was 'blackout' night and i bumped into my god brother no.2, andrew! its like we were so busy to meet up in singapore, we met up in another country instead. haha..

so after much dancing, it was supper at 3am, room service at 5am, much needed sleep at 6am, checking out at 1pm, lunch, shopping, snacks (A&W waffle with 2x scoop ice-cream), coach ride back to singapore and supper! at arab street. home at 2am, slept for 3hrs and i was up for my business class training!!!

IT WAS THE CRAZIEST 2 DAYS OF MY LIFE! and till now... it still have not really dawn on me tat i got INKED. and its FOREVER!










(p.s. jaslyn you better get yours done when we go back to KL for touch-up!)
